Southampton Football Club's hospitality areas are a crucial part of the matchday experience, serving thousands of fans throughout the season. When 442 Design was tasked with refurbishing the stadium's bar areas, the project scope included upgrading furniture to create a modern, cohesive environment worthy of a Premier League club.

The club had already invested in brand new tables that set the visual standard for the refreshed spaces. However, they also had 23 older tables that, while showing their age aesthetically, remained structurally sound and fully functional. The question became: how do you honour sustainability and budget considerations while maintaining the high-end appearance expected in professional sports hospitality?

Any delay could impact the club's ability to open their hospitality areas for the new season. As major refurbishment was underway at the Club, we took away the tables to our workshop, where they were wrapped within 4 days. They were then delivered back to the client – who was overjoyed with the result.
